KRIKELKRAKEL
Krikelkrakel ist eine experimentelle, abstrakte Arbeit und zeigt eine expressive Verdichtung von Linien, die sowohl räumlich als auch zeitlich wirkt. Gelingt es einzutauchen, vermögen die Linien durch deren Überlagerungen und Spiegelungen den Zuschauer regelrecht zu hypnotisieren, während die Frequenzen des Bildes durch das Sehen hörbar gemacht werden sollen.

“Rabbitland Promotion Office” is part of a series of works by Ana Nedeljković, in which she is experimenting with the characters she had created, the Evil Girls and Brainless Rabbits, through various media and contexts, in order to discuss actual social issues.
The work is based on animated stopmotion film “Rabbitland”, directed by Ana Nedeljković and Nikola Majdak Jr. The film represents a dystopian world inhabited by Brainless Rabbits, who are absolutely happy and participate in free democratic elections which are organized by the Evil Girls and held daily.
The work is conceived as an installation in the gallery space, which ironically simulates the premises of the Office for Promotion of Rabbitland as an ideal democracy. It consists of the animated film, documentation on the filming process, plasticine and rag dolls, as well as of additional objects related to the narrative.
