Edmond’s impulse to love and be close to others is strong… maybe too strong. As he stands alone by a lake contemplating his options, he goes on a journey backwards through his life and revisits all his defining moments in search for the origin of his desires.

This film is simply brilliant! It is creative in many ways: The narrative - the way the film reverses a life time. The aesthetic - the integration of drawn expressions on the face of the puppet. The “Mise-en-Scene” – the beautiful and original transition from one scene to another. The refinement of the film creates a deep sense of empathy for this unusual character.
