Janine Scheer-Erb is a multimedia artist, game designer, and poet. Through poetic perspectives, experimental game mechanics and speculative worldbuilding, she creates works that feel intimate, subversive, and playful. Informed by feminist, caring, and queer practices, she makes the hyperrealities and hyperobjects of the present tangible. She is an organizer and curator for sound culture in Vienna and holds several degrees in play, games, and new media art. Her work has been shown in Berlin, New York, Bolzano, Novi Sad, Zagreb, Vienna and on the (virtual) moon.
